Wigan Ukulele Club

Chonkinfeckle are Wigan lads, Les Hilton & Tim Cooke. Les & Tim met in September 2009 at the Wigan Ukulele Club. Having played with various bands over the years, and having found out they have a few things in common, they decided to get together to play some darn fine ukulele tunes, with a bit of a twist. Staying true to their Lancashire roots, most songs have a local lyrical theme, others are instrumental and there a few healthy covers thrown in to, all played on the mighty ukulele. Les and Tim have recently produced a 4 track limited edition CD, all based on one of their hero's Fred Dibnah. All monies raised from the CD go to the Fred Dibnah Heritage Centre, which was Fred's amazing old home. The CD can be bought from the Fred Dibnah Heritage Centres ebay page.
